I miss you Pantene

I'm a stay at home mom. That means I haven't earned a dime in almost 4 years. Because of this lack of funds, I have had to cut back in many areas. Unfortunately shampoo and conditioner were on the hit list. I used to switch back and forth between Pantene and Dove. Now I use one of those cheapy dollar brands....you know, the ones who have commercials saying that they work as well as the more expensive brands. And that you wouldn't be able to tell. WRONG! I have never been "happy" with my cheap brands, but they get the job done and my hair gets clean. That is as far as I can go. They do not make my hair silky and soft. They do not even smell that great. Yesterday I got a free sample of Pantene in the mail. I love freebies! This morning I used my free Pantene shampoo and conditioner and I quickly remembered why I loved them. Even before getting out of the shower, I can feel the difference. Soft, silky, smooth. Yep. There is something to be said for $4 shampoo and conditioner. I can only imagine what those really expensive products do....even though I will never find out. Back to my point....those cheapy brand commercials LIE. I can feel a difference, both while using the products and after. So there. I proved them wrong. Now if I could only get Pantene to send me free products all the time I would be in heaven.
Hello....Pantene.....are you listening?

Now an update on the wild elephant situation. So far, so good. None have made it in the house. J told me that we still need to be on the look-out. I guess those signs are working. Now if I could get him to make a no Bills sign....that would be helpful.

I love my Pantene. And I agree with Ameila--get off brand cereal and other things. Don't scrimp on the shampoo!!

I totally agree. But I think that $4 is pretty reasonable considering most of my friends have $20 bottle shampoos.

I like Pantene too but do you know my hair dresser (& a few of them - I asked around) said Pantene is SOOO bad for your hair - it puts a coating on your hair that has to be STRIPPED off!!!! GASP!!! But then of course, they tried to sell me the $20 shampoo.... so who knows! sigh...
