Happy Friday

Yesterday afternoon C got his license. It is a very strange feeling to have one of your children gain that independence. After school today he is driving here to spend the weekend. He will have his Dads vehicle and then drive himself back and forth to Robotics and then who knows where. Remember back when you got your license? I do. I wanted to GO. It didn't matter where, I just wanted to go. To get out of there, to assert my freedom. Head to the mall, to a friends, anywhere. Just sitting in a vehicle alone was an awesome feeling. For the first time ever, you felt free. You felt grown. And I am sure that is how C is feeling right now. Congrats C! You make me proud.

Now on to my day. I have wasted all morning online. Well, that isn't completely true. I did throw in some laundry, feed the kids and play with them for awhile. But that big stack of dirty dishes is still sitting there....and the bananas are still waiting for me to squish them into banana bread. And my plans to make cookie dough got pushed aside too. So now I am going to sign out....and pretend to be domestic for awhile. Then take a nap *wink*

Yeah Collin we are so proud of you. Wish we were back there so one of the places you could drive to would be our house. I am sure your girlfriend is very happy too. Denise enjoy your weekend with him (when he is there). LOL

I made so many trips to the grocery for my mom just so I could drive. What was weird for us is when the BABY drives & get her car... then they are all gone... that's when its unreal!
