Thursdays Nonsense

I wanted to spill the overload from my brain. Right now I have so much going on in there that I can not get anything accomplished. So maybe, just maybe if I dump the useless crap here, then I can move along with my day.
Thanks for tagging along on my little nonsense journey.....

-why does my laundry multiply when I am not looking? How can I be "almost caught up" and then have a mountain bigger than a small car staring back at me?

-Can you feed frozen waffles to you kid more than once a day? Does having Blueberry Waffles make them more "healthy"?

-Who gave my son the idea to "blow his nose" into NOTHING?!? Yeah, you read that right.....he just blew it.....and out it came, EVERYWHERE. ( Remember....I can handle anything EXCEPT Snot and loose teeth)

-How did I manage to NOT wreck the car when he did this? Thank you Jesus!

-Why is it that my family manages to always be the one in a million who's packages are lost by the post office? Seriously, this is twice in 3 months. What is going on over there??

-Has anyone started Christmas shopping yet? I am usually well on my way and I haven't even made a list yet. This alone can keep me up at night.

-C came for a visit last night. He doesn't do that very often now. No matter how much I beg or cry. Grumble, grumble.....teenagers and their busy lives. Ugh. (Love you C !!!)

-I have NO chocolate in the house. This is dangerous for everyone.

See, I told you it was all nonsense. But still....these thoughts were flying around in my head along with the real important stuff. Hopefully now I can get back to getting some things crossed off my To-do list. Hopefully!

I don't think you can ever have too many waffles.

Quick - someone get this woman some chocolate STAT!

And boys, they WILL farmer it whenever and whereever. I will confess, I've had to do it on a long run. But at least it was in the bushes right?

And yes, blueberries make ANYTHING healthy. All those antitoxins and stuff

I have the same problem with the dishes— I don't know how the sink keeps getting filled with them. The more I do, the more the sink fills with them… help.

I'd swear that laundry and dishes do multiply when we aren't looking!

I'm in the same boat with chocolate - craving it, NEEDING it and have none in the house. Well, I did just make a cup of hot chocolate but it's just not the same. I hope you get some good chocolate soon!

Hi Denise
I think that as long as you have the blueberries in the waffles, you are getting grain and fruit...so totally healthy ;)

thanks for stopping by my blog...to answer your question about the wheat in buckets...I have wheat berries in there, and I will mill them (I have a grain grinder) when I need to have flour for bread, pancakes, or whatever you use flour for. It's much much cheaper and better for you this way. There is nothing quite like the taste of homemade bread with freshly ground flour!

ps...get some chocolate! thats an important food group :)

Hi Babe, your supposed to always have a stash of chocklate. That is a woman's rule. Thankfully Amy is bringing you some after dinner tonight. As for the laundry, I honestly do not know. When we were there this summer for 10 days it amazed me how it could be all done and we would turn around and there were 3 or 4 piles very high and so did the dishes. It was amazing. Did I not teach you anything. Don't you remember teasing me about the list I would make and cross off and make again and cross off? It was therapy. I hope getting all that stuff off your brain will help you move on and get done what needs to be done now.

If they're blueberry waffles, that counts as a fruit serving.

And laundry breeds in my basement. It's a fact.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog yesterday. It's nice to meet you!

I hear you on the laundry front, my friend. ARGH!!!

As far as Christmas shopping, are you serious? I'm still debating about whether or not I should buy candy to pass out to trick-or-treaters next Saturday.

And the chocolate? Well, I think that thought should count AMONG the real important stuff - not just along with it. *grin*
Oh! If I buy candy for the kids for next week, and not many come by (Which they usually don't - which is why I'm debating.) well, then, I'll have chocolate in the house. I think you just helped me settle my debate. Thanks!

okay, all i have to say is you can count on me to always be at least 10 steps behind you in the christmas department. i haven't even BEGUN to think about halloween.

and listen, if they would stay warm, i would pack waffles in the school lunches. maybe i should just try sending them frozen.

I'm sure that I must take in half of the population of our small towns laundry! I'm quite sure that I could not possibly go through THAT amount of laundry on my own!
Why is there always one teaspoon left in the sink after you have done the washing-up?
Why is there always one odd sock?
Who is setting out to drive me crazy?
Time to start thinking about Christmas! Actually, I started thinking about it a while ago, but that is as far as it got!
I have just remembered that I have two tubs of Ben & Jerry's ice-cream hidden in the back of the freezer!

i always start my christmas shopping in the late summer and am done BEFORE thanksgiving. I simply did NOT do it last year and will NOT be doing that again, because I have NO money... besides their dad (in an effort to out-do me) gets them over-the-top stuff anyway... **sigh** still keeps me up.

And you better get your hands on some chocolate - quick!

I hope the chocolate situation has been rectified!

I hate my boys being older and not being around as much.

Oh, a loose tooth grosser outer here too - I HATE that!

Just pull the darn thing and remind me to let the Tooth Fairy know. I do not need to see the continued effort of wiggling.

Ew.

And no chocolate?!
