Bad Denise

I haven't been a very good blogger lately. I haven't been a very good blog reader either. Sorry. I really don't have a good excuse. Unless being a mom, wife and patient count.
Do they count?
OK......just so you can stop wondering this is what has been going on in my life.

I visited with friends. Several friends. Old friends. It was awesome seeing each and every one of them.

R peed his pants in Walmart. Yeah, I thought we were over that too. Obviously not.

J has a bad cold. Bad. Poor J.

Poppop isn't doing very good. It isn't anything I can put my finger on....I cant say it is this or that. But he just isn't doing well. He is weak. He looks bad. I'm worried.

I have been to the dentist several times since the beginning of the month....with several more visits to come.

I found out that John Hopkins in MD has an entire department dedicated to Sjogrens. I wish I lived closer to Baltimore.

My husband is back to working full time. That is a huge blessing BUT he isn't in his normal position at work. He HATES what he is doing now. He HATES going to work and he HATES the thought of doing this for several more months.

I have had some good days and some bad days. Today is a bad day. I'm in pain. Apparently my body doesn't like when I am super busy.

hmmmmmm.....yeah, that's it. Boring, right?

I read this passage this morning and it stuck with me....

I know the Lord is always with me.
I will not be shaken, for He is right beside me.
No wonder my heart is glad, and I rejoice.
My body rests in safety.
Psalm 16:8-9

I always worry that my husband will hate his job. I have been there and it's depressing.

Being too busy to blog is kinda a good thing. But your bloggy friends miss you! and yet at the same time understand that you are busy!

Glad to know you are still around, but sorry to hear about all the crap.

And here's to hoping Hubby finds happiness at work. Could make for several long miserable months.

sorry to hear you're in pain, and all of the other stuff going on. what a great attitude you are having about it though. I guess the key is not to forget God in all of it, which you haven't. For the record... people think I blog ALL.THE.TIME. But it just isn't true. I only blog once or twice a week... I just have so much to get outta my head, I have to put it in several posts and then schedule them in advance! lol!

Hope you get back to feeling better soon!

I think a lot of people are busy lately, so don't worry about not posting as frequently. So glad that you are still around.

Any challenges that you face will be difficult, but this too will pass.

my husband despises his job. His unhappiness is a huge reason for MY stress. Unfortunately, not something I can blog about either.

I completely understand feeling busy- but not really being busy. Good to hear from you- take care.

Sorry you're in so much pain right now. Don't worry about real life taking you away from blogging. We'll be here when things settle down. :)

I know what it's like hateing my job. I would cry on the way there and on the way home. It didn't help my stress at all. I should have screamed all the way home. It sounds like at least it is only for a few months so he can tough it out I am sure.
Spending time with your frineds was a great time for you so you bloggy frineds are ok with that. I am sure they missed you but your back now.

Now try to rest your body and start to feel better. Stay home where you can rest more that visiting. Hugs to you. I love you.
