It's been awhile

Wow. I cant remember how long I have been neglecting my blog and bloggy friends. Sorry about that. Things here haven't changed, and I dont see any improvement with my new meds. But they told me it would take up to 2 months to feel a change. I have been spending my time resting as much as possible and giving my family more attention.

This past weekend Hubby, Me and the little guys went to Dover. We had tickets to the Friday Truck Race. We were there all day and watched practice and qualifing. The race was the last event scheduled and they pushed the start time up from 5:30 to 5 because there was a chance for rain. Well let me tell you....it RAINED! As soon as they started the engines it let loose. Then they told everyone that we had to evacuate the stands because of a threat of lighting. We went down out of the stands and found a place to stand out of the rain. And we waited. And waited. And waited. Eventually we decided to just head back to the van instead of waiting for it to stop. We got soaked. R had so much fun jumping in every puddle on the way back. Thankfully I had packed a second set of clothes for the boys and another shirt for me. Poor Hubby....he didnt bring any extras.

The race got postponed until Saturday night so we talked about it and decided to take the boys back down on saturday, but to watch practice and the Nationwide series race. It was in the afternoon instead of the evening (the trucks were scheduled for 6pm, I think).

We had a great day. After two big days I was exhausted. I fell asleep in the chair as soon as we got home and slept until 8am the next morning. Then I stayed home, laying on the couch all day yesterday. I needed it. But it was totally worth it. The boys had an awesome time. Plus Hubby got to see how much they enjoyed it (for two days in a row) and is considering camping down there for the September Race. (He and I have camped there on Race weekends for YEARS but havent since J was born. Boo Hoo. I keep asking and he keeps saying no....but he is finally starting to change his mind. YAY!!)

Ok, I gotta ask....did anyone else squeal like a little girl when they saw this????

And I know this is a long post...but I have to say thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts. They mean so much to me. I really love you guys!!!

Oh you guys look like you had so much fun. I love that R took lemons and made lemonade with the puddles.

Kids just don't care as long as there is a good puddle or stick to throw.

Sorry the meds haven't kicked in yet - praying the relief comes soon - Em
