I have never been a writer, so I have never understood writers block. Until now. My brain is empty. When I think about writing a blog post nothing comes out. Nothing. Just a blank screen. Anyone else have this problem? How do you get past it?

I am having the same problem. If it weren't for vacation--I would have had nothing for the month of June.

Yes. This happens to me every once in a while. I don't feel like I have a lot of exciting things to say, but I just say 'em anyway! Hang in there!

I say walk away and do something with the kids for awhile. Then come back and post what you did. Play a board game or something on the computer. If it isn't raining go outside and kick the ball around or play on the swings. If you having a bad day with your medical problems then I just say go take a nap. Maybe you will dream something you can write abouut. It is too soon to get excited about us coming to stay with you for 10 days.
