Ladybug, Ladybug....Fly away home

(this is NOT a picture from my house)

Our house is overrun with Ladybugs. Sure, they are cute but come on! One or two would be ok but we have HUNDREDS. And last night we slept in our camper in the back yard and it was full of Ladybugs too! Did you know that Ladybugs put off a stinky smell if you scare them (or smoosh them)? Maybe it is Ladybug pee? I don't know....but I AM tired of Ladybugs.

Go Home Ladybugs!!!

On another note.....Hubby took the boys to Walmart yesterday and came home with these kits to make Pumpkin faces. The are just like using parts from a Mr. Potato Head. Just pick your parts and push them in....and they are so Cute!!

I have never seen so many ladybugs and did not know they smelled. You are a ton of information on your blog.

The pumkin heads were really cute. I loved them.

We had those kind of things in our pumpkins too, before Halloween!

Yeah I HATE the ladybug swarms, we had them, then it got cold again, I can't handle them so I'd rather it stay COLD right now!

I've never had a lady bug swarm (knocking on wood) but I know several people in my area who have. I hate any kind of bug.

I saw a lot of those pumpkin-face-kit-things on porches in our neighborhood-- now I know where people were buying them: thanks!

I had no idea that ladybugs emitted a nasty smell when scared. At least they're "good luck", right?
