What an afternoon! Never in a million years did I think I would ever leave the house with legs bared when they looked like THIS....
But come on.....it was 90 degrees. And we were only going to the pediatricians office. And I don't really KNOW anyone there or expect to run into anyone I know. So I did it. I went out in public with nasty hairy legs.
Did I mention that I can't bend far enough to shave yet....because of the surgery. That's why. Honest.
Now on to the peds visit. I called last week to make an appointment for R's 4 year check up. Easy peasy....right? Wrong. We show up, wait our turn in the waiting room only to hear the nurse tell us that R isnt due for his visit until the end of October. HELLO?!? Why couldnt someone tell us that BEFORE we went? But it wasnt a wasted trip. R ended up getting his shots today, all 4 of them. Two in each thigh. Poor little guy. He handled it pretty good...only whimpered a little bit. I can't say I would have done as well.

OH MY GOSH... I totally busted out laughing in my office at that picture!!!
At least you can shower. Because of the kind of cath. I had--I couldn't even shower for 2 weeks. And I totally get the hairy legs thing. I had to have my hubby do it. We set up a little station in the living room where he shaved my legs. Good times.
Haha! I've had that happen in the winter, when I let myself get a little wooly, because I'm lazy. I ended up in the ER & the hospital for a week with furry legs, it was awful!
I love the picture!
